Welcome High Magick practitioners. Today, we will complete the self-initiation ceremony into the Neophyte Grade of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. This is the final video, presenting the third act of the self-initiation ceremony, known as the Closing.

Before reaching this stage, you should have spent several months practicing the probationer exercises in preparation. You can find them here:

You'll be guided through critical steps, including equilibrating the divine light, dismissing godforms, and cleansing the temple space, as part of our ongoing self-initiation series.

We provide the temple map to illustrate the precise movements of the Neophyte. For this ceremony, in addition to the essential temple elements, you will need a censer, a cup of water, a sword, a white Djed wand or crown-headed scepter, a rose, wine, a candle, bread, and salt, all arranged on the black cubical altar.

We intentionally present different ways to pronounce certain Hebrew words to help you understand that variations exist among students. This way, you won't be surprised when encountering different pronunciations in other videos or readings.

Although we depict the symbol of Mut in this video, remember that you will actually be invoking the godform Auramoouth during the ceremony. Godforms like Auramoouth empower officers such as the Stolistes to perform their roles effectively. In this ceremony, the Stolistes channels Auramoouth's attributes and energies to purify the Neophyte. While Mut is used as a symbolic representation, Auramoouth serves as the primary source of spiritual force for this initiation.

Errata Notice: We would like to clarify a small mistake in the depiction of the Hegemon's Wand. The Hegemon's Wand is a miter-headed scepter, not the crown-headed scepter as displayed in the video. The crown-headed scepter is instead associated with the Hierophant godform, who may also use the white Djed wand. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
