Mozambique businesses destroyed day after protests, looting

A day after violent protests and looting spread across Mozambique’s capital, Maputo, smoke billowed from destroyed buildings on Wednesday (December 25). Charred and broken objects in shops and municipal buildings remained as residents gathered in the streets.
