DUST and ASHES - Here Today, Gone Tomorrow - Spoken Poetry

In this poem, I contemplate the brevity of life; us, everyone we know, and everything we’ve built or accomplished will soon be buried by the passage of time. Death and decay come for us all. Nothing lasts. However, there is hope. Jesus Chirst, our Creator, came to us to pay our penalty for sin by dying in our place. Then, He rose again to life. Now, all who trust in Him will be granted eternal life in His undying kingdom where there is no longer any sorrow, suffering or death. All who trust Jesus will not be dust and ashes. We will be raised both spiritually and physically to rule and reign with Christ forever.
