Star Wars Spending Out of Control! Andor Budget EXPLODES to $500M!

Kathleen Kennedy needs to get Lucasfilm spending under control. A huge reason The Acolyte did not get a second season is because it was not close to being a cost effective show. $230 Million for a show viewed by dozens is ridiculous and an unsustainable business model.

Andor is the last hope for quality Star Wars content for the foreseeable future. Season 2 drops in 2025 and the reported budget for this season alone in the realm of $300 Million and the series in total is well north of $500 Million, getting close to $700 Million.

Disney is starting to examine what is going on over in a Galaxy far, far away and wondering where so, so much of their cash is going. It's bad, and it will only get worse if things do not change.
