Two Men Miraculously Survive After Being Dragged Down The Highway In Front Of A Truck

Posted • December 25, 2024: India — Two men were injured after a truck dragged them and their vehicle for about 500 meters in Agra on Saturday, December 21. Some locals forced the driver to stop the truck and extricated the men from under the vehicle. The incident happened when the two bike-borne men, Zakir and Rabbi, were going towards Rambagh from Waterworks in Agra at around 11 pm on Sunday. The truck hit them from behind and, instead of stopping, it sped up, trapping both the men underneath, and dragging them for nearly 500 meters. Recounting the horror, Zakir said, "We were going from Bijlighar to Rambagh after having dinner. As we moved ahead of a standing truck, its driver suddenly accelerated, hitting us and dragging us from Rambagh to Waterworks. We screamed out loud and also begged the driver to stop the vehicle, but the driver did not stop it. At Waterworks, the truck was finally stopped after the intervention of the local people."

After stopping the truck at Waterworks, the locals pushed the truck back and extricated us, Zakir added while recounting the horror. Upon receiving an alert about the incident, a team of Agra Police reached the spot and admitted the injured men to the hospital. The truck driver was also arrested by the police, who seized the truck.
