Christmas in Aspen 1988

This is a very well produced special. There is a lot more than just Denver looking at the camera and singing. Obviously it features Aspen, Colorado and Denver. Added to that is a nice performance by Ann Murray and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and a lot of traditional Christmas music, plus a few special tunes from Denver.

There is also a film about Aspen being used for skier training in World War 2. Another film features a farm. There is a feel good and warmness to how this is produced and presented. This is the type of Christmas special that dominated all the networks when it was made. Great family fare.
