The residence of the Argentine ambassador in Caracas has turned into a "prison" for critics of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro. Five team members of opposition leader Maria Machado have been sheltering in the house for the past nine months, fearing persecution. They sought political asylum after being accused of terrorist activities and treason. However, their life became more difficult after Maduro proclaimed victory in the disputed presidential election.
