Latin Patriarch tells faithful not to lose hope in Bethlehem as war rages

Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa’s convoy drove through the Israeli-built separation barrier on Tuesday (December 24), on his way to the Church of the Nativity, the reputed location of Jesus' birth now in the Israeli-occupied West Bank town of Bethlehem, where he will lead the annual Midnight Mass.
