Once upon a time, Christmas wasn't complete without Bing Crosby. For years his Christmas shows were on radio and TV. Here is the Kraft Music Hall starring Bing Crosby in this Christmas edition from Dec. 21, 1944. But wait! After the show I've included a tv soundtrack of Bing singing a duet with rock star David Bowie from 1977. Word got out that this segment almost didn't happen. David Bowie wasn't cooperating with Bing and the director. He almost walked off the set. He was convinced to do the duet with Bing. Their performance was was pretty good. Enjoy.
