The Ukrainian army continues to use Iranian-made artillery shells.

If at the end of 2022, 122-mm OF-462 shells produced in 2022 were seen in service with the AFU, now, at the beginning of 2023, the Ukrainian army uses even newer shells produced already in the current 2023.

One of the reasonable assumptions is the seizure of these boxes by the Americans on board one of the Iranian arms convoys for Yemen, and their subsequent transfer to Ukraine, as was done earlier with mortars and machine guns, however, the year 2022 indicated on the invoice may also indicate that the ammunition could have been supplied by resale through a third country.
