Wounded Child No Surviving Family

Over 15,000 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli forces since October 7th, 2023. More than 45,000 Palestinians have been killed and officially counted. But that does not account for bodies still under the rubble and countless others that have been evaporated or torn to shreds. In July 2024, The Lancet published a conservative estimate of 186,000 Palestinians killed since October 7th.

One of the most tragic aspects of this onslaught against Palestinian life in Gaza can be summed up in the sad acronym WCNSF: Wounded Child No Surviving Family.

These children have been forced to navigate the genocide of their people alone. Some children have even taken on caretaker duties to their younger siblings.
