Pinhey Forest is a beautiful natural area located in the southwest end of Ottawa. It features 6.4 kilometers of nature trails that are open year-round. The forest is known for its unique ecosystem, including Ottawa's only inland sand dune complex1. It's a great spot for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

The trails are well-maintained and offer a variety of loops, allowing for shorter or longer outings. Trail 31 provides great shade for walks and can be accessed from parking lot P14, while Trail 32 features both sand dunes and forest and can be accessed from parking lot P151.
