Sidequest!

Sidequest re-imagines classic 80's adventure films with a modern comedic edge and a higher body count. Three friends Eddie, Paul and Patrick, who are bored with their jobs at a pet store, and playing video games decides to build a blanket fort in their living room. After the popularity of the fort, the entire apartment building adds on to it, turning the place into chaos. Now trapped by the fantastical pitfalls, booby traps, and monsters created inside of the fort The three friends devise a plan to tear down the fort. The Villian, Wester leads a band of oddball minions on a mission to prevent Eddie, Paul and Patrick from tearing down the fort. The handmade fantasy world comes to life with puppetry, stop-motion animation, and in-camera optical illusions, re-igniting the tactile sense of wonder from the movies of our childhoods.
