Female Pileated Woodpecker

The Pileated wooodpecker is my favorite bird; my second favorite is the Chickadee. This video is all about a large female Pileated woodpecker that flew and surprised me while I was bowhunting, little did I know that she had a been building a house right next to our tree stand. Watch her as she works hollowing out the tree for her winter home.
