A gym lover was robbed of the ability to walk, breathe and move after suddenly developing a rare muscle-wasting disease.
Derrick Lane, 50, could once deadlift 200lbs but is now a quadriplegic who relies entirely on wife Clare Browne-Lane, 45, for his daily care.
The truck driver first began noticing weakness in his arms and legs during a gym session in January 2016 and initially blamed the symptoms on a back injury.
