The Man of Romans 7

There is a prevailing view in the Evangelical world and in Adventist circles, that the man described in Romans 7 is converted- a Christian. This is not true. Paul wrote this Chapter reflecting on his old man unconverted experience. We know that because he describes the experience in different ways e.g. " Carnal sold under sin...sin that dwelleth in me...wretched". A person can not be a Christian and carnal sold under sin at the same time. Genuine Christianity is about real Change- from being sinful to being sinfree through the Change GOD wrought in the believer by the Holy Spirit. Listen more in this Bible study and be blessed.
