#964 // WORSHIP THE KING - LIVE
Christmas Eve is just around the corner, and tonight we celebrate both Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and Father God, the creator of the Universe. It is clear now for all to see that distortion and wickedness have controlled the lives of men for millennia: they stole and usurped power to plunder the People and to present us all into bondage. These last six years of revelation have been devastating and awe-inspiring - and have often driven family and friends apart! But, the enemy's schemes don't rule the day, because Jesus came to Earth and paid for our sins through his wonderful sacrifice.
Jesus also came in the flesh to offer us an example of how to live—not with the sword of judgment, but instead with meekness and humility. That we might first seek to serve others, even when it doesn't profit us to do so. To love those who would persecute and kill us. To peacefully encourage the downtrodden and lonely and even for those who've lost all hope.
1 Corinthians 1:27 reminds us, "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;"
God's glory is coming, and this is the season to worship our King and Savior, Jesus the Christ!
