Tesselaar Tulip Festival

Take a scenic drive to the Dandenong Ranges (about an hour's drive from Melbourne city) and see over a million fragrant tulips at the annual Tesselaar Tulip Festival. From mid-September to mid-October each year the gardens are transformed by a kaleidoscope of colour, with rows upon rows of recently bloomed tulips on show. Visitors can also soak up the beauty of the farm's cherry blossom trees early in the season.
