North Korean soldiers set up observation posts to protect against drones in Kursk

Moscow has intensified its attacks on Ukrainian forces in Russia’s Kursk region by using North Korean troops. Kyiv has been occupying part of the border region since August when it launched a shock cross-border incursion to seize Russian territory.
“For three days in a row, the enemy has been conducting intensive offensive operations in the Kursk region, actively using North Korean army units,” Ukraine’s commander-in-chief Oleksandr Syrsky said in an address to local officials. Intelligence agencies in Ukraine, the United States and South Korea have all said Pyongyang has deployed around 10,000 troops to Russia to fight alongside its army. So, Russia continues to use North Korean troops in combat operations in the Kursk region, and they are already suffering serious losses from the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces . As reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, after such losses, North Korean units began to set up additional observation posts to detect drones of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"Before the assault, North Korean troops on the front lines are amassing a group of up to 20-30 soldiers - small groups of up to six servicemen are moving to the concentration area. The constant accumulation of assault groups of DPRK army personnel in Kursk region indicates that Moscow does not want to lose the pace of offensive actions," the report says.
The Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine also noted that North Korean soldiers use red tape for identification at the front.
