DAY 2. 17th AUG 22. LEAVING THE AIRPORT, NO LUGGAGE, ON ROUTE TO BACK PACKERS OVER HRS. DRIVE AWAY

Leaving the Airport in Dar without my luggage as it got lost on Kenyan Airlines & started my travels to my backpackers in the city. I booked into the L & J modern backpackers in the suburb o f Kinondoni. Here I would stay 3 OR 4 nights and then travel by ferry to Zanzibar, the take over an 30 hrs road trip from Dar Es Salaam, up North thru the countryside of Tanzania and Cross the border into Uganda. We are sitting in traffic listening to local music on the radio and the taxi driver is on his cell chatting to his wife.
