The Chuck Norris Experiment also known as CNE is a Swedish hard rock band formed in 2004 with punk rock influences and is based in Gothenburg. The name is not a tribute to the actor Chuck Norris, but rather to the American blues guitarist Charles "Chuck" Norris. The debut album was the self-titled Chuck Norris Experiment in 2005 on the Italian record label Scarey Records and the Finnish label Bad Attitude Records, and in the USA by Devil Doll Records with adding of two bonus tracks. The band has released 8 studio albums and in 2012, a split album with Nick Oliveri.

The Swedish rock monster The Chuck Norris Experiment is celebrating 20 years with their brand-new studio album »20« that released July 2024, by Ghost Highway Recordings (ES) and Savage Magic Records (US). Most of 2023 was spent writing the new album, and now the band has hit the road for their “20-year anniversary world tour 2024”.

The video for “Jason Voorhees” was directed and cut by guitarist Chuck Rooster. Filmed in grainy found-footage style, the video shows the band rocking out as the hockey mask-wearing fiend stalks them. The song “Jason Voorhees,” like its slasher namesake, is a killer and will get you headbanging from the very first chord.

The release of 20 is a celebration of the twentieth anniversary of The Chuck Norris Experiment. Throughout the last two decades,The Chuck Norris Experiment has released nine studio albums, three compilations, two live albums, compilations, and a split album with Nick Oliveri (Kyuss,

Queens of the Stone Age). With each recording, The Chuck Norris Experiment extended its reach beyond Sweden to the rest of Europe. Now The Chuck Norris Experiment has finally attracted a fervent following in the United States.
