On December twenty, two thousand twenty-four, the EPC construction of the first phase of the Fangda Chongqing Aviation City Ruihang (Chongqing) Aviation Engine Maintenance Base project officially started in the West (Chongqing) Science City West Yong Comprehensive Bonded Zone, marking the substantial construction stage of the Ruihang (Chongqing) Aviation Engine Maintenance Project and another milestone in the cooperation between Liaoning Fangda Group and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government to build the Fangda Chongqing Aviation City project. The first phase of the renovation of the maintenance base is the Ruihang (Chongqing) Aircraft Engine Maintenance Base project, located in the Xiyong Comprehensive Bonded Zone and constructed by Chongqing Science City Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. The original factory buildings in the comprehensive bonded zone will be renovated, with a total renovation area of approximately eight thousand five hundred square meters. After the completion of the first phase of the project, the repair capability of CFMfifty-six-fiveB/sevenB series engines will reach a peak of sixty units per year, meeting the repair process requirements including complete machine assembly disassembly, unit assembly disassembly, partial component maintenance, and aviation material storage. The project is about to start the design and construction of the second phase synchronously, and the overall completion of the project will achieve full maintenance capabilities for five types of engines, including CFMfifty-six-fiveB/sevenB and LEAP-oneA/oneB/oneC. At the groundbreaking ceremony, it is reported that on April one, two thousand twenty-four, Liaoning Fangda Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and on May thirty-one, Fangda Aviation International Headquarters was unveiled and established in Chongqing. This project actively serves the construction of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle and promotes the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, striving to contribute to Chongqing's positioning as an important strategic pivot for the development of the western region in the new era and a comprehensive hub for inland opening. And in response to the strategic call of Chongqing to build a thirty-three thousand six hundred and eighteen modern manufacturing cluster system, Liaoning Fangda Group plans to build the Chongqing Aviation City twelve thousand three hundred and forty-one plan and implement it accordingly.
