Lessons from 1994 - United States Marine Corps - Leadership

On August 1994 reported to Marine Corps recruit Depot, San Diego, California and was assigned to Lima company platoon 3037. My Senior drill instructor was Sergeant Chris Young and he taught me this definition: Leadership is the sums of those qualities of intellect, human understanding and moral character that allows a person to inspire and control a group of individuals successfully.
