I. The Incarnation  - Matthew 1:18-23
* A. Jesus had no human father, he was conceived miraculously
* 1. The sin nature is passed through the father 
* 2. Jesus was born sinless and lived a sinless life
* B. Jesus was fully human and at the same time fully God
* 1. His divine nature took on human flesh - John 1:14
* 2. Human witnesses to his divinity and humanity - 1 John 1:1-3, human needs he demonstrated included
* a. Sleep, Luke 8:23, Food Matt. 4:2; 21:18
* b. Physical protection Matt. 2:13-15; John 10:39 
* c. He perspired Luke 22:43-44, He bled John 19:34 
* d. He expressed emotions joy John 15:11, sorrow Matthew 26:37, and anger Mark 3:5
* e. Jesus referred to Himself as a man John 8:40
* f. Post resurrection His humanity was still recognized Acts 2:22
* C. The necessity of the Incarnation - 1 Peter 1:18-19

II. Why Would Satan Want to Mimic the Incarnation?
* A. Satan’s trinity - Revelation 13:2, 4
* 1. The dragon - Satan himself
* 2. The Beast - a fake Jesus claiming to be fully human and fully god, demanding worship, known as Anti-Christ
* 3. The False prophet who will cause the world to worship the Anti-Christ Revelation 13: 11-12, 15-17
* B. Satan is self deluded, he thinks he wins in the end - Isaiah 14:12-15
* 1. He seeks to replace God on the throne of the universe
* 2. He will be brought down and be imprisoned in the lake of fire for all eternity
