Illegal immigration hurts Black America the most! #WalkAway

It’s easy for Democrats to masquerade as the caring and compassionate side, but many of their policies actually hurt the very people they claim to want to help.

For example, remember the Trump “they’re taking black jobs” controversy?

Well, the truth is that black Americans—particularly black men—are harmed most by an influx of illegal immigration. For example, 1940 to 1980 “was a period of comparatively lower immigration, and men saw their real incomes increase four-fold during those decades. Indeed, their earnings actually rose faster than white men’s.

But progress among black workers leveled off starting around 1970, five years after Congress passed laws that significantly increased rates of immigration, from roughly 250,000 per year in the middle of the 20th century to over 1 million annually today.”

Moreover, a Levy Economics Institute found that “for each one percent increase in the immigrant proportion of an occupation, the wages for black Americans in that occupation were reduced by about half a percentage point.”

There are decades of research backing up this correlation, so caring about “black lives” is intrinsically tied to a secure border—something Democrats actively fight against. 🤷‍♀️

It’s time to learn the facts and #WalkAway.
