Temperatures keep climbing as high pressure builds, leaving us mostly sunny and drying out, but also suffering from excessive heat. Expect a high of 103 in Bakersfield today with moderate air quality and 101 in Lake Isabella. The desert is obviously the hottest with a high of 110 in Ridgecrest this afternoon and 112 in California City! Tehachapi will top out at 91 today with a high of 88 in Frazier Park.
