Untangle Your Tongue!

In order to finish strong in 2024 and throughout life we must learn to master what comes off our tongue. We have to retrain our brains to reject negative thoughts and speak affirming words.

Proverbs 12:18 “The tongue of the wise promotes health.”
Finishing strong requires health in all aspects of our lives: personal, professional, emotional, spiritual and financial. And we can partner with GOD to move every aspect into health.

James 3 is an entire chapter devoted to controlling the tongue, which without faith is impossible to achieve.

James 3:5-6 the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.

James 3:10 “blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
Psalm 141:3 NLT Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips.
