Amy worked as a maid for a politician and his wife. Though she was paid well, she really disliked the job. The running mayor was exceptionally rude and violent with his spouse. And Jessica hid behind a vain and bitter personality to shield herself. Amy saw her pain. So when the girl decided to fake a pregnancy in hopes of making her husband calmer, Amy agreed to help her fool the man. However, expecting a baby had no effect on him. He still hit and mocked Jessica.
