Magnesium Balm

Use magnesium lotion to relieve muscle soreness, body aches, cramps, stress, anxiety and headaches. Lavender essential oil provides a calming and relaxing effect.

Single batch (makes about two 8-ounce jars)
Put 177 ml of olive, jojoba, sweet almond, grape seed or your favorite oil in a 2 cup glass measuring cup. Add:
74 ml shea butter
30 ml bees wax
Melt in double boiler. Stir occasionally to fully incorporate.
Put oil mixture into a food processor. Avoid adding condensation/water that collects at bottom of the cup from double boiling.
Slowly add 1 cup magnesium chloride brine (see below) while mixing, until it’s emulsified.
Add 2.5 ml to 5 ml (1/2 tsp to 1 tsp) (48 drops per cup for a 1% dilution) of your favorite essential oil(s).
Pour into jars (glass is best) https://a.co/d/1WDQG70. It will congeal quickly as it cools so don’t dilly dally.

Magnesium chloride brine
118 ml distilled water
118 ml Ancient Minerals magnesium flakes https://a.co/d/bFftCWd
Stir until dissolved.
