Good topic. I have a question. What if a person misinterprets a verse unintentionally through an innocent misunderstanding. For example, let’s say that a person reads revelation 9:21which says:
“neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭9‬:‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
…and believes that a person can repent from taking the mark. I get asked this a lot and because I haven’t got confirmation yet I tell them that I do not know, but if I had been deceived and took the jab I would absolutely be trying to repent. What are your thoughts in regards to adding or taking away to the word through accidental misinterpretation? I see this a lot and try to tell people that when it comes to scripture to be careful and treat the word with fear and honor and that it’s ok to say “I don’t know” if your are unsure about what it means. Blessings. [show less]
