Message 522: "In Our Days"

Paul again gives us counsel. Romans 13:11-14, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness [revellings and carousing], not in chambering and wantonness [immorality and indecency], not in strife and envying [arguing and jealousy]. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”

Paul says now is the time. It is the hour already for you to awake out of sleep and put on the robe of Christ’s righteousness. Do you know the days we are living in? Do you know that Paul is speaking about Our Day? Now is the time to wake up because we don’t have very much time left.

I want to look at two main points with you in this study:
1. The time of the world and,
2. the time of the church.
