'100 North Korean Troops Killed Fighting for Russia', US Fears Putin Close to Accepting Kim's Nukes

A South Korean lawmaker has claimed that at least 100 North Korean troops deployed to Russia have been killed in the ongoing war. Pyongyang has sent thousands of troops to reinforce the Russian military, including to the Kursk border region.
The South Korean lawmaker made the remarks after a briefing by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to parliament.
Despite those losses, the agency also said it had detected signs Kim Jong Un was preparing to train a new batch of troops to ship westward. Lee noted that the North's elite Storm Corps had "the capacity to send reinforcements."
The NIS also predicted "that Russia might offer reciprocal benefits" for a new deployment, Lee said. The lawmaker added that the highest-ranking casualty from North Korea is "at least at the level of a general."
