PRO- ISRAELI LOBBY'S INFLUENCE OVER CONGRESS

US congressman Thomas Massie (@repthomasmassie) spoke in June to US journalist Tucker Carlson (@tuckercarlson) about the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

In a shocking revelation, he detailed that many members of the US Congress have a so-called ‘AIPAC guy’ who keeps in touch with them on matters related to Israel.

AIPAC is one of the most influential lobbying organisations in the US. With a robust network of supporters, financial backing and strategic relationships, AIPAC has shaped how Congress engages in issues related to Israel and West Asia. The organisation’s ability to donate funds to both Democrats and Republicans to help them win elections ensures bipartisan support for keeping Israel a priority in US foreign policy. AIPAC has been instrumental in securing billions of dollars in military aid to Israel, defending Israel against criticism in international forums, and influencing key votes in Congress, including legislation that targets Israel's adversaries.
