They Made a Spearhead Before it was Spearhead

I got the Arcane Cataclysm box that has the two factions, Disciples of Tzeentch and Lumineth Realmlords. While looking through the booklet it came with, I kind of realized something. The set up of the box, the size of the armies, the battleplans. It all seems a bit similar to the newly launched Spearhead game mode that came out in Age of Sigmar 4th Edition!
