Short and yet important Senate Russell building Tour! Life twists and turns?! - 12/19/24

Hello I am on the 3rd floor of the Russell building. Media equipment set up behind me. Open area (atrium). Beautiful, similar architecture as the Cannon Building on the House side.

I made this vlog because I was stunned what I saw...

Once again, life is full of twists and turns.

I will tell you why? Let me show you something... that gave me goose bumps.

Showing you where Mitch McConnell's office. Fancy office. He is resigning as the leader due to health issues. He will leave Congress in 2026. Nice fireplace... a faux fireplace. Not everyone is responsible for real fireplaces so I understand.. right? (sarcastic emphasized).

Senator Budd, Republican. A good guy. Fancy fireplace, too.

Committee on Rules and Administration, famous. So, the room is eye popping. Showing you some old photos, black and white. Of course. https://www.rules.senate.gov/about

When you see flags by doors, it means senators work there. Otherwise, rooms are for meetings...

Small world! I did not intend to look for his uncle's old Senate office! I was just walking around to kill a bit of my time before I was coming over to the House side this afternoon. Stunned!

Oh, also, last Tuesday, I was here. I also saw LBJ's old senate office.

Perplexed... Imagine that!
