Bob Arum Spills the Tea: Devin Haney Rejected Teofimo Lopez Fight

In a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Bob Arum confirmed he wants to make the Boots Ennis fight for Teo. If he can't make that fight, he wants to return and try to make the Devin Haney fight.

However, Bob confirmed that Top Rank reached out to Devin Haney's handlers, and Devin turned down the Teofimo fight. Now, this is news to me because when I spoke to Bill Haney back in February, March, and April this year, before the fallout, I asked him why he was not trying to make the Teofimo fight.

I never got a straight answer from Bill, he spoke in circles. Now, Bob Arum confirms Top Rank offered Haney the Teofimo fight, but Haney turned it down.

Devin Haney must be serious about waiting on Ryan Garcia's return to boxing. At this point, with the lawsuits and everything, I doubt Devin will get a second shot at Ryan.

In other news, ShowBizz The Adult dropped a video entitled, "Is Haney Career Ruined??? In the video he makes a compelling argument as to why he asked that question.

Between the lawsuit, and Devin Haney fans from the LDBC, it appears that Haney's brand might have taken a hit. No one likes him, or his Dad. No one likes his boxing style. No one likes their ignorant, low IQ group the Alphabet Boys.

In my opinion, Devin Haney can't afford to turn down an offer to fight Teofimo. That fight makes the most sense to me. Let's listen to the interview and ShowBizz's video to see if you agree or not.
