True Submission: In Christianity, true submission is to Jesus Christ, who declared Himself as the Son of God. As He says in Matthew 16:16-17, "Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.' Jesus replied, 'Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.'" - This verse confirms Jesus' divine identity, directly from God.

Jesus as Lord and Savior: The call to submit to Jesus is clear in Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Here, we see the worship due to Jesus, affirming His lordship over all.

Jesus' Own Words: Jesus unequivocally states His divinity in John 10:30, "I and the Father are one." - This statement directly challenges any notion that He is merely a human prophet or messenger; He is one with God, thus divine.
