BREAKING Identities Revealed In Wisconsin Christian School Shooting ‘Our Hearts Are Heavy'

The identities of the teacher and student who were killed during the Wisconsin Christian School shooting have been released.

42-year-old Erin Michelle West – and 9th grader Rubi Vergara were both shot and killed when 15-year-old Natalie ‘Samantha’ Rupnow walked into the school and opened fire.

West worked full-time at the school as an in-house substitute teacher and coordinator.

Abundant life releasing a statement saying

“She served our teachers and students with grace, humor, wisdom, and — most importantly — with the love of Jesus. Her loss is a painful and deep one and she will be greatly missed not just among our staff, but our entire ALCS family.”

She was described as being kind and caring by her students.

Vergara, had been a student at the school since kindergarten and was described as being popular and a highly devoted volunteer.

The school saying

“Her gentle, loving, and kind heart was reflected in her smile. Rubi was a blessing to her class and our school. She was not only a good friend, but a great big sister.”
