Video games 'can IMPROVE health of obese children'
Video games have enabled obese children to actually lose weight for the first time. A new study has shown how digital games involving overweight children imitating dance moves were effective in helping them shed the pounds. Researchers conducted a trial called GameSquad, where children aged 10 to 12 were tasked with playing games for six months. The study used 46 children, half of whom abstained from the trial's games, which included titles such as 'Just Dance 3' and 'Kinect Sports Season 2'.
