  • (1) Ever see a lunar eclipse? The shadow which consumes the moon and then recedes from it, which can only possibly be the Earth's shadow, is a curved shadow, not a linear one. Proving the Earth is a spheroid. (2) In the northern hemisphere, the monthly cycle of the moon phases is that, after a new moon, the moon "fills in" from right to left all the way to a full moon, then wanes as the light receding from right to left. Meaning that a waxing crescent moon will show its sliver on the right side, the crescent you see right after sunset in the evening sky, whilst a crescent waning moon, the kind you see before sunrise in the morning sky, will show its sliver on the left side. In the southern hemisphere, this pattern is reversed. Which is only possible because, and proof of, the Earth being a spheroid. (3) The constellation patterns from the southern hemisphere, especially the farther south you go, are "upside down" in the experience of northern hemisphere observers. Again proving...
