The Word of God To Meditate On Today
Gen 26:5
Abraham's obedience to all God's requirements, commands, decrees and instructions brought a generational blessing that have impacted all believers today. Notice the different avenues - requirement, commands, decrees and instructions. The Believer will experience varied trials, yet he is expected to obey all and not some. The blessing included his descendants being a source of blessing for all nations of the earth; inheriting the land of the heathen nations; and his descendants being numerous as the stars of the sky. Obeying the voice of the Lord is the foundation of blessing in the life of the Believer.

5 I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions.”

Personal Supplication
Father, help me pay the price for total obedience to Your will, and continue to exercise myself in this daily in Jesus' name! 1 Sam 15:22

22 But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

Weekly Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover me with his feathers, And under his wings shalt I trust: His truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee throughout this week in Jesus' name!

Only with my eyes shalt I behold And see the wicked receive their rewards. Because I have made the LORD, my refuge, Even the most High, my habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For God shall give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all my ways. They shall bear me up in their hands, Lest I dash thy foot against a stone. I shall tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet. Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set him on high, because I have known His name. I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me. With long life will God satisfy me, And shew me His salvation. So shall it be for me and my household throughout this week in Jesus' name!
