I did this at Sunrise (August 1, 2024), starting at the Devil's Lake Shoreline Trailhead and Exploring the Shoreline Perimeter of the Camping Zone, stopping at the SW corner of the Lake before the Shoreline Trail parallels the South Lake Shoreline.
