Vandalized hydrants make putting out KCMO house fire difficult, firefighters say

A fire damaged a Kansas City home that had been boarded up by the city Thursday morning. Crews had trouble putting out the flames because three fire hydrants on the street had been vandalized. No one was inside at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
