The Great Rupert AKA A Christmas Wish 1950

A vaudeville performer has fallen on hard times. He has to leave his best friend and stage companion Rupert, a dancing squirrel, in town. Rupert must fend for himself.

The charming little squirrel rises to the challenge and accidentally helps two poor families. Rupert seems to be Heaven sent.

Based on a story by Ted Allan entitled "Willie the Squowse."
