Fresh Carrots and why they need space.

Welcome to It's Always Something Farm.

Today, we are examining our freshly harvested carrots from our raised bed garden and discussing the importance of proper spacing. While we have numerous fully matured carrots, you may notice a few that have not reached full size. This is a result of overcrowding within the beds. In some cases, it is possible to transplant the smaller carrots to a more spacious area. For those that cannot be utilized, trim off the leafy tops and feed them to your cows, while the carrots themselves can be given to your chickens.

I trust this information is helpful, and if you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment, and we will respond accordingly.
