Overland Park gas station clerk in critical condition after being stabbed

An Overland Park gas station clerk is in critical condition after being stabbed Wednesday morning. Police told 41 Action News the incident happened around 6 a.m. at the 7-Eleven near 107th and Metcalf. A department spokesman said the clerk was found in the store suffering from stab wounds. The suspect is in custody. He was on foot about three blocks away when he was caught.
