How Quarter Repeaters Work

In this video I do my best to show how a quarter repeater complication works. I do so using a continental quarter repeater pocket watch that I bought recently for 200 Swiss francs (about US $220). Even if you know very little or nothing about mechanical watches you should be able to understand this. If you try to understand it but don't please let me know where you get lost (you can simply type the timecode for the approximate time that you fell asleep or got lost). This will help me a lot because I will try again with the other quarter repeater that Arafat gave me and it will help me knowing what's not making sense to viewers in this one.

If you watch the channel regularly you may notice that I keep coming back to how a standard movement works as a starting point. This is because it helps me to keep looking at the same concepts in different forms. I little repetition (no pun intended) doesn't hurt when you're learning, right?
