Combat modules "Berezhok" from the Tula Instrument Design

Combat modules "Berezhok" from the Tula Instrument Design Bureau, mounted on modernized BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicles, provide a great level of fire support for dismounted assault groups of the Russian army breaking through to enemy fortifications.

In this episode we can see the reloading of the9П163М-1 transport and launch tubes of the self-propelled modification of the Kornet ATGM, adapted to accommodate the 9M133M-2 ATGM with a tandem HEAT warhead and a range of 8 km, as well as the 9M133FM-3 with a high-explosive warhead with a range of up to 10 km and a proximity fuse even ensuring the interception of helicopters, UAVs and attack aircraft at speeds of up to 900 km/h.

Each combat module "Berezhok" has 2 paired "packages" with 4 ATGM "Kornet" in total.
At the same time, at night the range of ATGM 9M133M-2/FM-3 against heat-contrast targets of the "tank/BMP" type is of about than 3500 - 3700 m, which is due to the corresponding detection range of the multi-channel gunner's sight "Sodema".

In the objective control video, the gunner-operator of the BM "Berezhok" provides fire support to the infantry from a 30mm 2А42.

The lower frontal part and side projections are equipped with ERA modules (presumably based on elements of the 4S22 Kontakt-5 or 4S23 Relikt), which significantly increased the protection of the BMP-2M from single-block cumulative warheads placed on FPV drones.
