The zero discharge business direction of China Construction Environmental Energy's mine water won the second prize of the two thousand twenty-four China Circular Economy Association Science and Technology Progress Award. Recently, the final evaluation results of the two thousand twenty-four China Circular Economy Association Science and Technology Award were officially released, and the project "Development and Application of Key Technology Equipment for Resource Utilization of High Turbidity and High Salt Mine Water" led by China Construction Environmental Energy won the second prize of the two thousand twenty-four China Circular Economy Association Science and Technology Progress Award. The project was jointly declared by CSCEC Huaneng and Jining Energy Development Group Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, the Ecological Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, middling coal Tianjin Design Engineering Co., Ltd., Beijing Sanuo Water Technology Co., Ltd. and other units. The Science and Technology Award of the China Circular Economy Association aims to recognize organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the field of circular economy application research, in order to promote industry technological progress and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. After multiple rounds of formal review, preliminary evaluation, and final evaluation, the two thousand twenty-four China Circular Economy Association Science and Technology Award has awarded thirty-nine scientific and technological progress projects, including seven first prizes, ten second prizes, and twenty-two third prizes. The project aims to address industry technical challenges such as low utilization rate of high turbidity and high salt mine water resources, lack of complete technical equipment, unclear mechanism of reverse osmosis membrane pollution, and difficulty in precise cleaning of membrane pollution. A technology system for the resource utilization of mine water resources has been constructed to meet diversified water quality needs. Four key technologies and equipment have been developed, including ultra efficient disk separation for in-situ turbidity removal of mine water, magnetic coagulation sedimentation for rapid hardness removal, high-throughput ultrafiltration membrane enhanced pretreatment, and precise cleaning of reverse osmosis membrane pollution. Based on the Jining high salt mine water resource utilization project, technical process demonstration and engineering application research have been carried out, ultimately forming a targeted comprehensive solution for zero discharge and resource utilization of mine water. The representative achievements of the Jining Energy Mine Water Resource Utilization Project (totaling ten thousand six hundredm ³/d) have been applied to the Jining High Salt Mine Water Zero Discharge Project. It is the first fully operational coal mine high salt mine water resource utilization project in Shandong Province and the East Route of the South to North Water Diversion Project, effectively reducing local environmental pollution, improving the efficiency of mine water resource utilization, and achieving salt recycling and utilization. The project has been highly recognized by the industry, and its achievements have positive significance for improving the utilization rate of mine water resources, protecting the ecological environment of river basins, and promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the coal industry.
