A new Federal lawsuit accuses Detroit City Councilman Gabe Leland of extortion, and this is not the first such accusation. Â This time it comes from Kenneth Scott Bridgewater, the former owner of a downtown bar. Â He alleges Leland got $5,000 in food and drink to help him keep the bar he was leasing from the Downtown Development Authority.
